What cameras can I use with the ATEM Mini?
Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 4K and 6K models can work as studio cameras with control sent via the HDMI connection to ATEM Mini. That means you can control the camera settings as well as the camera’s color corrector from ATEM Software Control.
What does Black Magic Atem do?
Automatically Converts Any HDMI Input Format That means ATEM Mini will automatically convert 1080p, 1080i and 720p sources to the switcher video standard! By default the switcher will set its video format automatically, however you can also set the switcher to any video standard!
Can I connect a USB webcam to ATEM Mini?
If you’re streaming, then all models use USB as a webcam. First connect the USB to a computer. Your computer will recognize ATEM Mini as a webcam and you can then select it as the webcam source in your streaming software, such as Skype.
Can you use USB webcam with ATEM Mini?
ATEM Mini has a USB-C connection for webcam output via a computer which is compatible with USB3. 0 connections so you can use USB-C to USB-C or USB-C to USB 3.0 cables to connect to computers.

If you are going to use an ATEM (mini or pro I presume) I would let the ATEM handle the switching between cameras, but then rely on OBS for all the other media. Then bring the ATEM in as a input source to OBS. It isn’t perfectly ideal as you have to remember when to switch on the ATEM vs. when to switch in OBS.
