The shore is rocky, but there are smooth places which are ideal for sun bathing and there is easy access to the sea. Recently a man made sandy beach has been built.

I lived in St Paul’s Bay for about 8 months. I am a solo female, and I always felt safe. The Maltese people are very helpful and kind. As with any destination, be careful at night, and do not do anything you wouldn’t do at home.
